But the ones who are truly important are the ones who bring out the best in you. They are the rare and amazing people who remind you why it’s worth it.”
And some of those rare and amazing folks were recently gathered at the AAPM Annual Meeting (#AAPMAM), at the Santa Clara Convention Center, Silicon Valley, California, and brought out best in each other! A huge thanks to all of you for such an overwhelming response and your participation, making the inaugural AAPM Annual Meeting a huge success!
With the theme as “Accelerating Precision Medicine and Transforming Patient Health,” AAPM2019 was designed to bring the precision medicine community together and serve as a leading forum for new medical breakthroughs as well as cutting-edge basic, translational, and clinical research. To fulfill this vision, AAPM2019 program committee showcased thought leaders involved in innovative research, developing new capabilities and developing technological interventions to speed up the delivery of personal health. Some of the participants included, Google, Roche, Kaiser Permanente, AbbVie, El Camino Health, Deloitte, Accenture, UCSF, Stanford, Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy, the California Governor’s Office of Planning & Research, and many more SMEs and academics organizations.
AAPM annual meeting brought over 50 speakers, experts and thought leaders in precision medicine field, who shared their wisdom with ~600 registered attendees. The attendees included government, top scientists, patient advocates, entrepreneurs, investors, industry executives, all gathered together with a common goal to accelerate precision medicine. We are truly indebted to our speakers for their participation and sharing their knowledge and wisdom with us. Thank you for uniting together to create such a unique learning experience.
A special thanks to AAPM’s culture team and the bay area’s finest artists and performers for putting such an amazing and blissful cultural program that included music concert, songs and dances. Thank you for rocking the Theater at the Santa Clara Convention Center with your amazing performances!
